Famous violinist Nancy Zhou will hold master classes for the Foundation's scholars on August 23.

Famous violinist Nancy Zhou will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on August 23 (Tuesday), from 2PM to 4PM. The master classes will take place in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival, in the large concert hall named after Tatyana Hayrapetyan, at Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School.


On August 25, she will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival.


Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.

Nancy Zhou began her musical career at the age of 13 with the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, and has since played with the Stockholm Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Munich Symphony, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the San Diego Symphony, the Padua Chamber Orchestra and with other renowned orchestras.


She is a guest lecturer in Taiwan, and since 2020 she has been conducting online master classes for musicians from around the world.
