Famous violinist Marc Bouchkov will hold master classes for the Foundation's scholars on August 19.

Famous violinist Marc Bouchkov will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on August 19 (Friday), from 3PM to 6PM. The master classes will take place in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival, in the large concert hall named after Tatyana Hayrapetyan, at Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School.


On August 21, he will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival.


Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.

Mark Bouchkov gave his first solo concert at the age of 6, and won his first international awards at the age of 17 in Leipzig and Liège. He won the Grand Prix in Montreal International Festival in 2012. In the same year, he became a laureate in the Queen Elizabeth International Competition.


Mark Bouchkov has performed with more than a dozen orchestras, including the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Brusselս and Liège Philharmonic Orchestras, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orchestra of the Higher School of Music and Theater in Hamburg.


Mark Bօuchkov is a professor at the Royal Conservatory of Liège and the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein.
