Famous cellist Brannon Cho will hold master classes for the Foundation's scholars on August 19.

Famous cellist Brannon Cho will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on August 19 (Friday), from 11։30AM to 1:30PM. The master classes will take place in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival, in the small concert hall of the Yerevan Specialized Music School after A. Spendiaryan.


The next day, on August 20, he will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival.


Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.

Brannon Cho is the First Prize winner of the prestigious 6th International Paulo Cello Competition, and is also a top prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth, Naumburg, and Cassadó International Cello Competitions. 


Brannon Cho has appeared as a soloist with many of the top orchestras around the world, including the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Belgian National Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, and Orchestre Philharmonique Royale Liège.
