Famous cellist Alexander Ramm will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on August 18 (Thursday), from 11AM to 1PM. The master classes will take place in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival, in the small concert hall of the Yerevan Specialized Music School after A. Spendiaryan.

The next day, on August 19, he will perform in the Komitas Museum-Institute in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival.

Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.

Alexander Ramm is a silver medalist of the Tchaikovsky International Competition, winner of a number of music competitions, including the Cambridge International Competition and the All-Russian Music Competition. To date, the cellist is the first and so far the only representative of Russia who became a laureate of one of the most prestigious Paulo cello competitions held in Helsinki (2013).
