Famous pianist Saleem Ashkar will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on August 17 (Wednesday), from 11։00AM to 2:00PM. The master classes will take place in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival, in the small concert hall of the Yerevan Specialized Music School after A. Spendiaryan.

The next day he will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival.

Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.

Saleem Ashkar made his Carnegie Hall debut at the age of 22 and has since gone on to establish an international career. 

He has performed with the Wiener Philharmoniker, Royal Concertgebouw, London Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Orchestre National de Lyon. Saleem Ashkar is also Artistic Director of the Galilee Chamber Orchestra.
