Music for Future Foundation scholarship recipient and oboist Hayk Hekekyan has been awarded the Grand Prix at the Saint-Saëns International Music Competition.
The Saint-Saëns International Music Competition is a member of the World Online Music Competitions Organization (WOMCO). Having operated for several years, it serves as a global platform presenting various instrumental and vocal categories. The competition awards several distinctions — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum — and the highest honor, the Grand Prize, is granted to participants scoring between 97 and 100 points.
Hayk is currently studying in Germany at the University of Music and Dance Cologne under the guidance of Christian Wetzel. In Armenia, he received his professional music education under Harutyun Shakhkyan.
We warmly congratulate our talented Hayk and wish him continued success and new achievements ahead!
