– Can you tell us a little about yourself? How did you first become interested in music?
Since the day I was born, I’ve always been surrounded by music. I used to attend my parents' concerts from a very young age, so entering this field felt completely natural. But choosing to pursue music professionally was entirely my own desire and decision—even though my parents weren’t particularly supportive of me taking this difficult path.

– What do you enjoy doing when you're not playing music? Do you have any hobbies or activities that bring you joy? How do you like to relax after classes or long practice sessions?
Yes, of course! I love playing chess—it helps me relax mentally, and I believe that if I hadn’t become a musician, I definitely would have pursued a career as a professional chess player. I'm also interested in history, foreign languages, and spending time with friends, which always brings me great joy.
– Do you have a favorite motto or saying that inspires you in life?
It’s not shameful to not know something—what’s shameful is not wanting to learn. I believe that no matter your age, there is always something to learn, and that’s what makes life so interesting.

– What is the most interesting or favorite place you’ve ever been to, and what makes it special for you?
In Armenia, I’d say Lori Province—it’s where I love to relax and recharge with new positive energy. Outside of Armenia, Switzerland is a very special country for me. I’ve been studying there in parallel for four years now, made many new friends, and have come to love its beautiful nature and kind people.
– If you had a magical power, what would it be and how would you use it?
If I had a magical power, it would be my music—one that, when people listened to it, would make them want to become better and live in a world free of war and cruelty.
– What are your goals and aspirations for the future as a young musician? Do you have any dream projects in mind?
One of my main goals is to receive a high-level education and become an internationally recognized musician. I want to perform with the best orchestras and represent Armenian musical art at the highest level.։
– Can you describe the role that the Music for Future Foundation has played in your musical development and how it supports you?
The Music for Future Foundation has had a major impact on my professional growth. It has given me the opportunity to connect and learn from internationally renowned musicians, to perform in many concerts both in Armenia and abroad, and provided a scholarship that helps cover the needs related to my instrument. And of course, the positive environment of the Foundation helps me grow both as a person and a musician.
– Is there a word or phrase that best describes your personality, and why?

“Never give up.” I think this phrase describes me well because there have been moments when it felt like there was no solution, but choosing not to give up made all the difference
– Which of your qualities do you think has helped you succeed in music and in life?
My diligence, dedication to what I love, and constant drive to give my absolute best.
– Are there certain values or principles you consider important and that guide your actions and decisions?
Being honest is extremely important to me, as is being able to genuinely celebrate others' successes and offering help when people need it—even if it’s inconvenient or difficult at the time.
– What qualities do you value most in your friends and the people around you?
Kindness, loyalty, and humility—those are the qualities I value most in friendship and in people in general.
