"AND THIS IS ME"- Mari Papikyan

My instrument has taught me to be patient.

Music is something without which life would be far too ordinary.

When I’m alone, I enjoy the silence around me.

When I play, I disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with myself.

I believe that hard work can make anything possible.

When I’m on stage, I strive to be honest with myself and with the music.

I feel happy when everything turns out as I imagined, or even better.

Few people know this, but it’s important to me to keep everything under control.

To me, being Armenian means carrying an entire musical heritage.

What matters in life is a sense of tact, both in music and in human relationships.

I find inspiration after every lesson, through the knowledge my teacher shares and their approach to music.

I get emotional when I realize that even the happiest moments are fleeting.

Being a musician means constantly striving for perfection while understanding that it has no limits.

I’ve learned that not every question needs an answer.

What gives me strength is knowing that the future holds endless possibilities.

I feel proud when my results speak for themselves.

In three words, I’m unpredictable, original, principled.

I feel happy when things unexpectedly work out in my favor.

In ten years, I want to have reached a place I can only dream of today.

What I love most about Yerevan is its lively rhythm and familiar atmosphere.

I dream of a world where peace becomes the norm.

My motto: If something doesn’t work out, keep playing until the neighbors know it by heart.
