On August 2, Armenia’s young musicians, as part of the “Yerevan” Orchestra, shone at Germany’s legendary Konzerthaus Berlin concert hall within the framework of the prestigious Young Euro Classic 2025 festival. The concert was conducted by Sergey Smbatyan, with world-renowned trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov as the evening’s soloist.
Among the orchestra’s performers were also young scholarship recipients of the "Music for Future" Foundation — cellists Narek Arakelyan and Vahe Danielyan, as well as French horn players Tigran Harutyunyan and Martin Arshakyan.
For the Foundation, it is a great pride to witness the international success and achievement-filled journey of our scholarship recipients, made possible through their talent, hard work, and dedication.
The Berlin concert once again reaffirmed the greater mission that unites our Foundation: to open the doors of the world to young Armenian talents, support their educational and creative path, and make them a source of pride for our nation.
The orchestra was established and is fully supported by Yerevan Municipality. The concert was organized by Yerevan Municipality and the “Aram Khachaturian” Cultural Foundation.
