“Music for Future” Foundation Director Anna Ter-Hovakimyan Hosts Classeek Ambassador Programme Coordinator Benjamin Risse
Recently, a meeting was held at the “Music for Future” Foundation’s office between Anna Ter-Hovakimyan, Director of the Foundation, Lida Arshakyan, Educational Program Manager, and Benjamin Risse, Coordinator of the Swiss initiative Classeek Ambassador Programme.
During the meeting, the Foundation’s activities, ongoing programmes, and initiatives supporting the development of young musicians were presented.They discussed the opportunities the Classeek Ambassador Programme creates for young musicians from Armenia and explored possibilities for further collaboration.
We already have an important achievement within the framework of this programme, as Eduard Dayan, a scholarship recipient of the “Armenian Virtuosos” educational and development programme and a violinist, has been selected as one of the seven artists for the 2026–27 season of the Classeek Ambassador Programme.
The Classeek Ambassador Programme is a one-year professional development programme designed for young instrumentalists and singers aged 18–27, as well as composers aged 18–30. Selected artists receive support that helps them develop not only as musicians but also as young artists building their professional careers. The programme includes mentorship, connections with industry professionals, workshops, consultations, lessons, professional video and photo production, website development, social media promotion, and other professional opportunities.
We are pleased to strengthen our connection with Classeek and contribute to making such international professional opportunities more accessible to young musicians from Armenia.
