Meeting with Maestro Sergey Smbatyan and Presentation of Graduation Certificates within the "Armenian Virtuosos" Program

For more than six years, the Armenian Virtuosos educational program, implemented by the Music for Future Cultural Foundation, has continued its strategic mission of providing young musicians with a platform for educational and artistic development.

On June 23, scholarship recipients from different years of the program gathered at the Aram Khachaturian House-Museum for a discussion meeting with the program’s founder, Maestro Sergey Smbatyan, titled “Classical Music and the Search for Identity,” which was also attended by the Director of the Music for Future Foundation, Anna Ter-Hovakimyan.

The meeting was held in a question-and-answer format, giving young musicians the opportunity to raise topics of interest and hear the Maestro’s reflections on artistic and professional development, the formation of identity, building a career in the international music environment, creative thinking, and the challenges facing today’s musical world. The discussion also touched upon the unique aspects of a young musician’s professional growth, the relationship between education and experience, and the role of art in human life.

As part of the event, graduation certificates were also presented to the program’s 2025 scholarship recipients. Graduates who successfully completed the Armenian Virtuosos educational program received their certificates as a symbol of their dedication, perseverance, and professional achievement.

The meeting took place in a warm and sincere atmosphere, becoming a platform for open dialogue and the exchange of experience, united by a shared passion, inspiration, and love for classical music.
