"AND THIS IS ME"- Mesrop Mnatsakanyan

My instrument has taught me to love music and to be strong — never to give up. If something doesn’t work out, you have to keep fighting until you achieve it.
Music to me is a love that I don’t try to prove with words. I prove it every day by playing, learning, and never giving up.
When I’m alone, I listen to difficult trombone concertos and try to learn them. I also try to play along with jazz performances.
When I play, I feel as if I’m floating. I start to feel the music with my whole body, and every note makes me love what I do even more.
I believe that one day my dreams will come true. I will become a world-renowned musician, perform on great stages, and play with a major symphony orchestra.
When I’m on stage, I try to present the music I perform in a way that makes it as enjoyable for the audience as it is for me.
I feel happy when my work is appreciated by the listener. At that moment, I understand that all my effort was not in vain, and that makes me happy.
Few people know this, but I often express my feelings through music. When words are not enough, music speaks for me.
Being Armenian is more than just a nationality to me. It is my language, culture, history, and identity — everything I am proud of every day.
What matters most in life is not reaching your goal quickly, but walking the path with dignity. Patience and hard work eventually bring results.
I am inspired when I see people who never give up. Their example gives me the strength to keep moving forward.
I am moved when music conveys emotions that are difficult to express in words. In those moments, every note takes on a special meaning.
Being a musician means constantly learning and improving. Every stage is a new experience and a new opportunity to share your art. Music is an inseparable part of my life.
I have realized that everything has its own time. What matters is to never stop moving forward.
What gives me strength is the stage and the moment when music connects me with people. That feeling gives me new energy.
I am proud when my work and efforts lead to results. Those moments remind me that hard work is always rewarded.
In three words, I am: hardworking, determined, and humorous.
I am happiest when the people close to me are by my side. Their support is one of my greatest sources of joy.
Ten years from now, I will be a conservatory student and, at the same time, working in my profession.
What I love most about Yerevan is looking at the city from the top of the Cascade. From there, Yerevan has a unique beauty. I dream of becoming a world-renowned musician and performing on the greatest stages in the world. I want to be a role model for musicians who will have the same dream that I have today. My motto is: “Hard work is the key to achieving your goals and dreams.”
