Famous violinist Giovanni Andrea Zanon will hold master classes for the Foundation's scholars on August 14.

Famous violinist Giovanni Andrea Zanon will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on August 14 (Sunday), from 11AM to 2PM. The master classes will take place in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival, in the small concert hall of the Yerevan Specialized Music School after A. Spendiaryan.


The next day he will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in the framework of the "Symphonic Yerevan" International Music Festival.


Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.

At the age of 4, Italian violinist Giovanni Andrea Zanon became the youngest violinist in the history of Italy, who attended one of the country's state conservatories. He is a prize winner of more than 30 national and international competitions. During his musical career, he performed at New York's Carnegie Hall, Milan's Teatro alla Scala, Graz's Musikverein, Prague's Smetana Hall, Munich's Bayerisches Staatsoper, Baden's Festspielhaus and other famous concert halls.


He has recently represented Italy playing at the closing Ceremony of the 2022 Olympics Games in Beijing.
