Violin master class with Sergei Dogadin

Famous violinist Sergei Dogadin will hold a master class for the Foundation's scholars on May 1.

On May 1 (Sunday), from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, famous violinist Sergei Dogadin will give master classes to the scholarship holders of the Foundation. The master class will take place in the large concert hall named after Tatyana Hayrapetyan, at Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School. On May 2 he will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra at the Khachatryan Concert Hall.


Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive participants.

Sergei Dogadin, who has won a number of prestigious international competitions, is considered one of the best violinists of his generation. 


Dogadin has performed with famous orchestras, such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (London), the (London), the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, the Münchener Kammerorchester, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the Taipei Philharmonic, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia and the Mariinsky Orchestra among other Russian and international ensembles. He has appeared under such maestri as Valery Gergiev, Yuri Temirkanov, Vladimir Spivakov, Vassily Sinaisky, Yuri Simonov, Thomas Sanderling, Dmitri Liss and others.


Sergei Dogadin is also a visiting professor at music schools of different countries, such as China, Latvia, Singapore and others.
