Piano master class with Jean-Paul Gasparian

Famous pianist Jean-Paul Gasparian will hold master classes for the Foundation's scholars on March 27.

Famous pianist Jean-Paul Gasparian will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on March 27 (Sunday), from 11AM to 2PM. The master classes will take place in the large concert hall named after Tatyana Hayrapetyan, at Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School.

And the day before, on March 26, he will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra (Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Sergey Smbatyan) at A. Khachaturian Concert Hall in the framework of the 13th Armenian Composing Art Festival.


Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.


Entrance to master classes is allowed only in masks.

Among the orchestras that have accompanied Jean-Paul Gasparian as a soloist, are the Orchester National d'Ile-de-France, the Robert-Schumann-Philharmonie de Chemnitz, the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Orchester Régional de Normandie, the Valencia Symphony Orchestra, in concertos by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Saint-Saëns, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Gershwin and other composers. Jean-Paul has performed in recital or with orchestra at Tonhalle of Zürich, Laeiszhalle of Hamburg, Die Glocke de Bremen, Mozarteum de Salzburg, Kolarac de Belgrade and other concert houses.
