Music for Future Cultural Foundation establishes
An annual nominal scholarship "Music for Future"
for talented young musicians aged 10-16 in the following specialties:

STAGES OF RECEIVING
THE SCHOLARSHIP

The stages of receiving the Scholarship are as follows:

OF APPLYING FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP


To apply for the Scholarship, the following should be submitted:

  • Application form filled in by the application's parent or guardian.
  • Video recording of the program (performance) presented by the applicant.
  • Copy of the applicant's birth certificate or passport.
  • Certificate about the applicant’s place of residence.
  • Bank certificate about the applicant's parent's or guardian's bank account (in AMD).
    This should be the account to which the Scholarship amount will be transferred in
    case the applicant becomes a Scholarship-holder.

The abovementioned documents and video recording of the applicant should be sent by the free program We Transfer to the following e-mail of the Foundation: info@m4f.foundation

The application form should be filled in either by computer or in a hard copy using block letters (not cursive letters). In both cases, after filling in the application form, it is necessary to sign its hard copy, and send the signed and scanned application form in the way mentioned above.

Submission of the application-form states that the applicant’s parent or guardian has read, agrees and unconditionally accepts all the provisions of the Scholarship Regulation, without any objection accepts the results to be recorded (decision to be made) by the Jury, and agrees that the photos, audio and video materials made within the framework of the project with the participation of the applicant are used and distributed by project organizers. The applicant and applicant’s parent/guardian are responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the information and video recording submitted and their compliance with the requirements mentioned in the Regulation.

TIMELINE


The deadline for submitting documents and video recordings
to apply for the Scholarship is
May 22,
2020.

The results of the hearings of the applicants’ video recordings will be summarized on June 3 of this year.
After summarizing the results of the hearings of all the video recordings, the applicants will be notified about the Jury’s decision in a written form by June 5 of this year.

After announcing the Scholarship-holders, agreements will be signed with the parent or guardian of the 10 selected Scholarship-holders by June 12 of this year.


PERFORMANCE EVALUATION STANDARDS


The evaluation standards (criteria) are:

  • Compliance of the selected program with the
    participation requirements, age and individual characteristics
    of the participant.
  • Artistic merits of the performing interpretation of
    the composition(s).
  • Level of technical skills of the performer.

VIDEO RECORDING

During the video recording, the applicant must perform as a soloist and choose a free program of his/her choice (1 or more compositions), which he/she considers to present himself/herself in the best way as a candidate for the Scholarship.

Duration of the submitted video recording should not exceed 15 minutes. It must be up to date and must be recorded starting from May 4 of this year. It must be one complete video without edits and must be shot in high quality. When recording videos on phone, the camera must be stored horizontally.

At the beginning of the video recording the applicant must first present himself/herself, indicating his/her name and surname, and indicate the following: "The video recording is made to apply for the "Music for Future Scholarship"".

JURY

Representatives of the international
Jury will listen to the video
recordings of the applicants.

The decision of the Jury is final and indisputable (cannot be appealed).

SUMMARY OF THE RESULTS AND
SUPPORT OF SCHOLARSHIP-HOLDERS

After summarizing the results 10 best nominal Scholarship-holders will be
selected, and the Scholarship-holder support (encouragement) agreement for one year will
be signed with the Scholarship-holder’s parent or guardian.
The following types of benefits (support) will be provided to the Scholarship-holder:





Monetary support
For each nominal Scholarship-holder, for the given year, the Foundation each month will transfer a Scholarship amount (AMD) equivalent to 100 (one hundred) Euro (at the exchange rate corresponding to the day of signing the agreement) to the bank account of the Scholarship-holder’s parent or guardian.

Support of Scholarship-holders outside of RA
Each nominal Scholarship-holder will have the opportunity to attend a master class of the world-known artists and lecturers once during the given year. The Foundation will cover the expenses of the Scholarship-holder to attend the master class: air tickets, accommodation and food (abroad) and cost of master class.

Support of Scholarship-holders provided by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra
During the given year each nominal Scholarship-holder will have the opportunity to be present at:
- all concerts of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in Armenia free of charge (2 free tickets from the Foundation to the Scholarship-holder for each concert).
- master classes of the artists and musicians hosted by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in Armenia for free.
- rehearsals of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
