VIOLIN MASTER CLASSES WITH DORA SCHWARZBERG

Famous violinist Dora Schwarzberg will hold master classes for the Foundation's scholars on October 22, 23 and 25.

Within the framework of the Music for Future Classical Music Academy, famous violinist Dora Schwarzberg will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation and passive listeners   on October 22, 23 and 25, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  On October 22 (Friday) the master class will take place in 412 Hall at Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School. On October 23 (Saturday) and 25 (Monday) the master classes will take place in Tatyana Hayrapetyan Concert Hall, at Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School. The event is supported by the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC).


Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.


Entrance to master classes is allowed only in masks.

Prof. Dora Schwarzberg appeared in many live performances published by the label EMI. She won the 1st prize in the Carl Flesch Competition in London, ARD Violin Competition Munich, Romano Romanini Brescia, and was prize winner in Paganini Competition and ARD Duo Competition.

As a soloist Prof. Schwarzberg has performed with the Israel Philarmonic, New York Philharmonic, Whashington National Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic, Orchestre de Chambre Toulouse, Orchestra della Radio Svizzera Italiana, Orchestra della RAI Torino, Novosibirsk Symphony etc. in Concert Halls such as Carneggie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall NY, Musikverein Hall and Konzerthaus Vienna, Royal Albert Hall and Queen Elisabeth Hall London, Salle Pleyel Paris, Herculessaal Munich, Mann Auditorium Tel Aviv, Benyaney Hall Jerusalem etc...

She began teaching at the Mannes School of Music in New York and from 1989 at the mdw-University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna where she’s currently Professor Emeritus. She is regularly invited as a juror at international competitions. Since 2018 she is Professor at the Buchmann Mehta School of Music.
