Cello master class with Dmitry Yablonksy

Famous cellist and conductor Dmitry Yablonksy will hold master classes for the Foundation's scholars on October 15.

Within the framework of the Music for Future Classical Music Academy, famous cellist and conductor Dmitry Yablonksy will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on October 15 (Friday), from 11AM to 2PM. The master classes will take place in Tatyana Hayrapetyan Concert Hall, at Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School. The event is supported by the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC).


Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners.


Entrance to master classes is allowed only in masks.

Grammy nominated conductor and cellist Dmitry Yablonksy is the Artistic Director of Gabala Music Festival, Puigcerda Music Festival and Wandering Music Stars Festival. Dmitry Yablonsky is Music Director of Kiev Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra. 


Since fall 2016, he has been teaching cello and chamber music at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University and has been recently named Head of International Relations of the same University.
