Scholarship holders Hayk Hekekyan and Mari Hakobyan became winners of an international competition

‘’Music for Future’’ scholarship holders, a young oboist Hayk Hekekyan and cellist Mari Hakobyan became the 1st Prize Winners in an international competition and compete for the Grand Prix.

‘’Music for Future’’ scholarship holders, a young oboist Hayk Hekekyan and cellist Mari Hakobyan became the 1st Prize Winners in VIII Stockholm International Online Music Competition and compete for the Grand Prix.


The VIII Stockholm International Music Competition (SIMC) brings together young people in the field of classical music, who compete in different instrumental and age categories, and in the second round only the 1st prize winners, 50 people, including Mari Hakobyan and Hayk Hekekyan, compete for the Grand Prix.

 

Hayk Hekekyan studies at Sayat-Nova Music School in the class of teacher Harutyun Shakhyan, and Mari Hakobyan studies at Yerevan Specialized Secondary Music School after P. Tchaykovsky, in the class of teacher Gayane Rafayelyan.
