Music for Future Cultural Foundation provides a unique opportunity to Armenian musicians to study at one of the best educational institutions of Israel. Thanks to the efforts of tհе Foundation, young Armenian performers can participate in the competition ahead of schedule and get a full tuition scholarship to study at the famous Buchmann-Mehta School of Music (BMSM) in Israel.


The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music (BMSM) International Program


BMSM is the partner school of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and its international program gives students the opportunity to get B. Mus. M. Mus. and Artist Diploma in music performance for the following specialties:


·        Strings (priority: Viola and Double Bass)

·        Woodwinds (priority: Oboe and Bassoon)

·        Brass (priority: Horn and Trombone)

·        Vocal Studies (priority: Tenor and Bass)

·        Orchestral and Choral Conducting (graduate studies only)

·        Piano


Studies are held in English.


Besides full tuition scholarship, on a selective basis, the school also offers housing assistance and living stipends to outstanding candidates.


BMSM trains the future generation of outstanding musicians and prepares them in every way for a professional career in music. One of the world’s elite music schools, it has been home to many great artists, such as Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, Menahem Pressler, and others.

The School offers a high-level orchestral training program and intensive practical training opportunities with the Israel Philharmonic and its guest artists – the world’s leading conductors and soloists.

 

Faculty, master classes and series of concerts


The School faculty includes Israel’s finest musicians and pedagogues, many of whom are principal players with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Internationally renowned artists are invited to present master classes at the BMSM.

BMSM's series of concerts is one of the most successful series in Israel, with over 100 performances a year. The program includes symphonic, chamber, vocal, keyboard, new music, and lecture series, as well as special concerts, featuring students and faculty members.
